MARKETING CLUB – Han Bai

          The club seeks to offer marketing majors and other students the opportunity to gain a broader, realistic, more practically oriented exposure to marketing activities. These experiences enhance and augment the material being presented in the classroom. The Marketing Club strives to improve each member's marketability in today's highly competitive job market.

          The Marketing Club attempts to provide career guidance via distinguished guest speakers, on-the-job shadow programs, and by functioning as a personal career-oriented liaison between club members and the marketing faculty, department chairs, and the dean of the Williams College of Business. Further, the Marketing Club serves as a two-way conduit of information existing between its members and the local, regional, and national chapters of the American Marketing Association. This type of communication alerts club members to the realities and importance of "networking" and helps them begin to develop their skills in this area.

HR CLUB - Ensemble

          The purpose of the club is to bring together students interested in the field of Human Resources Management, help them develop interpersonal skills needed in the corporate and encourage them to meet professionals who work in the field of Human Resources Management. This club is designed to help students learn more about Human Resource and what Human Resource Professionals do.

          The club promotes the active participation of the students. The HR students take the lead in arranging the events .This enables in developing the students to plan and arrange for the events successfully. The club activities are organized in a regular basis to promote the team spirit and implement the HR concepts practically

INVESTORS’ CLUB - Investclub

          RVSinvestclub is a group of students and faculty who meet regularly and pool together their ideas on investment in the stock market. Members of the club share a mutual desire to increase their understanding of the stock market and improve their personal investing ability.

          Being part of Investment Club is enjoyable, educational and sociable. Information and knowledge are shared among the members. For many members, the Club serves as an introduction to stock market investment.

          Activities include seminars, guest lectures, online training in share trading, and assistance for preparing NCFM examinations. All the members in the club are there to learn and earn. The long term purpose is to make each individual member an experienced investor who can start to build a meaningful personal portfolio.

  EXTENSION SERVICE CLUB

          Students of RVS IMSR recognize their social responsibility and are eager to contribute towards the betterment of the society. Service Club is a voluntary student body that tries to make a difference to society. It undertakes a host of social initiatives, which include conducting fund raising activities, visiting orphanages, giving special coaching to under privileged school students, sponsoring the education of economically weak students etc.,

 

CULTURAL CLUB

          The Cultural Club keeps the students motivated and active in the cultural activities of their interest. It recognizes the promising performing artists, and provides means for their inherent talents to blossom. It brings the young performers in this institution under one umbrella, the Cultural Club. Performers can thus have expressions of their creativity through teamwork. Students can depend on the Cultural Club, to show them the way, to identify their strengths and provide them the opportunities, to mould their creative abilities into good performance. Students can change their visions into action through performances of different kinds song, dance, acting, composing, instrumental music, recitation, and so on.

 

QUIZ CLUB

          The quiz club is functioning with the objective of improving general knowledge/encouraging and developing the habit of reading/creating competitive spirit among the students. Every Wednesday quiz competitions are being organized by the club.

 KNOWLEDGE PLAZA

This club was started by the students of first year (2009-2011 batch), to increase their caliber and to bring out their full potential by involving every one in all the activities thereby preparing themselves to enhance communication skills, overcome stage fear, get more knowledge of the market, to explore hidden talents of the students and to display creativity among the students. The activities that are to be conducted are role plays, debates on current topics, group discussions, presentations and seminars. A business hour will also be conducted which will include, business review, market review, discussion on general news, discussion on great business personalities, presentations on innovations and inventions and subject reviews on the classes conducted. The club members will meet on all Fridays from 4.30 to 5.30 p.m.
